Hello! I wanna know the information about travel in Hawaii or any interesting places in hawaii that u can recommend me. I want the information to use in my presentation at school about " the interesting place and how to go there?" Can you tell me as much as you can?? i need your help so much… Hope to hear the answer from you as soon as possible.
P.S >> I already check at the website but that's not good enough. They dont have the information but they just try to sell a package.

for the island of oahu, some points of interests are Pearl Harbor, Waikiki beach (which is a man-made beach if you didnt know), Diamond Head (which was a volcano), the Polynesian Cultural Center (like a park full of the the different Polynesian cultures in the world), and the city of Honolulu which has many interesting museums, cultural stores, etc. there are still many more places! keep doing more research!

by the way, the w in hawaii is pronounced as a v in the state of Hawaii. just the people from the states (the us) say it how it is written!

is i stay at the same company hotel on oahu, maui. kauai, and kona, will i save more money? thenk they offer some kind of package for a two week stay? can anyone recommend and hotel roughly around 200 a night? for that price must be at least 3 star if not more. also looking for booking travel tours around the islands, and opinions? how to use for the cheapest? stay away from…? thanks for all the help in advance!

How much would it cost to insure a 500cc or less motorcycle in Hawaii for a full-time female college student with a 3.0 or better GPA who is 19 years of age and single and has one speeding ticket on her record? I would just like a ballpark range to work with so I can decide whether or not I want to buy a motorcycle for going to college and work while I'm here in Hawaii. I passed a motorcycle safety course and have my M1 license. I want to know if I could afford the insurance.

Prices will vary a lot depending on what bike you get and what type of coverage you select.

Definitely get online quotes – I've posted links to a company that gives instant online quotes – but many of the traditional auto insurance companies also offer motorcycle coverage – give them a call.

In my case my motorcycle insurance was considerably cheaper than my auto insurance (I just have liability coverage on both my bike and my car).

I may be moving to Hawaii about a year from now and sitting for the Hawaii bar. I would like to know how ample legal employement opportunities are. Is it particalarly difficult for a non-Hawaiian to get a job? Are there certain areas of legal practice that predominate in Hawaii? Any information would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!
by the way, I assume most of the legal opportunities are in Honolulu. However, there must be exceptions to this rule. How many lawyers are actively practicing law on the other islands? Is it much more difficult to find employment as an attorney on islands other than oahu? Thanks!!

Most of the lawyers are located in Honolulu. There are private practices on the other islands (outer islands) but I would suggest that you establish yourself on Oahu first (after passing the bar of course) before considering moving to the outer islands.

Being successful in Hawaii (as a lawyer or any other professional) requires you to have intimate knowledge of the way Hawaii works, meaning how each culture within Hawaii works. You'll be able to learn that better in Honolulu than on the outer islands (where it'll be assumed you already know that information).

We're looking to visit Hawaii, but favor small bungalows & places to giant hotels and resorts. Any ideas of islands/places to visit & stay that fit a smaller/more nature friendly trip?

Hotel Hana Maui should probably be top of your list.

The YMCA at Keanae on Maui has a cottage. That's a beautiful spot.

Bungalows on the island of Molokai, I don't know, but there's a small hotel left. The Molokai ranch closed down the Lodge, the only 18-hole golf course, the only movie theatre, and the tentalow village at Kaupoa earlier this month though. I'm fairly sure you can find a condo either on the west end, east end, or just east of town (Kaunakakai).

I know that there are some nice cottages down Poipu way on Kauai. My sister stayed there.

Somebody here may know of cottages or bungalows on the island of Hawaii, but I'm not as familiar with that scene.

We need a hotel, car rental and airline tickets and want to travel next year in 2008. around October. I checked on Expedia.com but they only give deals for no more then 6 people.

Find a travel agent very knowledgeable about Hawaii who has access to the major travel wholesalers. With a party of 10 you should be getting better than rack rates.

Alternatively you could try Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays directly and see what they will do for you.
