Oahu, Maui and the BI. It’s fabulous everytime! I was on the BI, Oahu in Nov. Isn’t the BI so different from the rest? Fields of lava everywhere!

The economic turndown had its effects on your everyday life – some got pink slips, some had to bear great hardship in buying their homes but your dream vacation getting within your reach can be counted as a blessing in disguise or call it profit in loss. Hawaii is a location you might have dreamt of for a vacation with your family but you were finding it way beyond your wallet. Not any more.
From 2009, Hawaii vacation has become affordable, with cheaper airfare, good discounts on accommodation, free transfers and many such deals on offer. To get the cheapest airfare, you should plan your vacation so that it does not coincide with school spring or winter break holidays. By surfing the net, you should be able to land rock bottom round trip quote even in 2010. The hotel industry had one of the worst years in 2009 when the occupancy rates in hotels had plunged by over6% and good deals were available on the best hotel rooms. For getting the cheapest quotes on the sea-facing rooms, you have to check on the hotel website and also on the travel portals. You can even get one extra night for free or a limo ride almost free. Even the rates of bar, restaurants and add-on facilities in the hotel are also discounted.
The couples can plan a Hawaii wedding also. A beautiful beach wedding complete with flowers, wedding cake, champagne can be arranged at an affordable price. A Hawaiian Conch shell is also blown in the Hawaii wedding.
Thus, whether a family travel or a beach wedding, discounts on Hawaii travel has made Hawaii a destination to look forward.
TMZ has posted photos of her at Hawaii locations (Known?) wearing a McCain campaign visor — are they on vacation? is she writing the Going Rogue sequel about her political outlook and opposition to Copenhagen Process on Environment/Climate Change? thanks for posting — 10 points for best answer. . .
NY Post had a story online detailing how the hotel was keeping photographers from the entire family as they came and went during vacation days . . .
Is it better to get a travel agent, or book everything myself? Are travel agents really cheaper, or can I get just as cheap of deals on my own?
Also which Island is best to stay at. Any advice for resorts or hotels?
You can get a good rate at the military hotel at Waikiki, the Hale Koa Hotel. I’ve noticed that it’s better to book the airfare separately from hotel these days–better rates. If you stay in Waikiki ou would only need a car for a day or two. If you really want to get away, Kauai would be the most laid-back island and there are several resorts at Poipu Beach.
Im planning a vacation with my hubby in june to Hawaii. But I don’t know what part of hawaii to go to. Have any of you been to Hawaii? Any good Hotels or deals? My budget is $2,000 for hotel and plane. I have no idea what to book….. Thanks!
My fiance and I are booking our honeymoon to Waikiki/Honolulu from the Canadian prairies for just under $2000 (plane and hotel) through WestJet Vacations (www.westjetvacations.com) and our city isn’t a hub or anything so it’s totally possible to do as long as you do some research and check out a few sites. I don’t know your location, but look for hotel and air packages through the major airlines – WestJet is one of two in Canada and see what their deals are like. Also compare prices with:
Expedia.com
Travelocity.com
Bookit.com
Priceline.com
I also recommend looking at the site www.tripadvisor.com. I used this to help us pick a hotel, users rate their experiences at hotels and then Tripadvisor turns it into a ranking.
We will be staying at the Aqua Palms and Spa, it’s #23 out of 100 hotels (with over 400 positive reviews), two blocks from Waikiki beach, and on a bus route. The bus is really popular in Honolulu from what I’ve read and it goes all over. And FYI: If you’re planning on renting a car, the daily rates to park in Waikiki are really high.
Good luck on your vacation!
My wife and I are trying to take a vacation to Hawaii in June. Which website can I use that will provide me with the best price to book a trip for two islands with two rent-a – cars in one week.
That’s a travel agent type problem
