Hawaii Travel Vacations
Hot Hawaii travel and vacation deals!
I need help. Going to HAWAII in JUNE. I need Recomendations to a good hotel?
Im planning a vacation with my hubby in june to Hawaii. But I don’t know what part of hawaii to go to. Have any of you been to Hawaii? Any good Hotels or deals? My budget is $2,000 for hotel and plane. I have no idea what to book….. Thanks!
My fiance and I are booking our honeymoon to Waikiki/Honolulu from the Canadian prairies for just under $2000 (plane and hotel) through WestJet Vacations (www.westjetvacations.com) and our city isn’t a hub or anything so it’s totally possible to do as long as you do some research and check out a few sites. I don’t know your location, but look for hotel and air packages through the major airlines – WestJet is one of two in Canada and see what their deals are like. Also compare prices with:
Expedia.com
Travelocity.com
Bookit.com
Priceline.com
I also recommend looking at the site www.tripadvisor.com. I used this to help us pick a hotel, users rate their experiences at hotels and then Tripadvisor turns it into a ranking.
We will be staying at the Aqua Palms and Spa, it’s #23 out of 100 hotels (with over 400 positive reviews), two blocks from Waikiki beach, and on a bus route. The bus is really popular in Honolulu from what I’ve read and it goes all over. And FYI: If you’re planning on renting a car, the daily rates to park in Waikiki are really high.
Good luck on your vacation!

I’ll tell you right now that a budget of $2,000 for air and hotel for two will not get you much of anything in Hawaii. Depending on where you are flying from your air fare will use most of that. I’ve been to both Maui and Kauai and nice hotels are $200 – $300 per night not even great hotels.
Consider saving at least $5000 for a trip to Hawaii.

I would book hotel and airfare separately–I’ve been checking for a friend and the packages aren’t very good right now. I don’t know your city but most west coast major cities on Hawaiian Airlines to Honolulu are about $350 (probably $400-450 at least in June). Your hotel can probably run $80 a high if you shop carefully, and you won’t be on the beach.

I disagree that you can’t do Hawaii for $2000. This is assuming you are coming from the Left coast.
Airfare can be had for around $500 per person and there are plenty of condos on Maui for around $100. June is slow and deals are plentiful.
Try http://www.crhmaui.com or maui-vacations.com for condos. Hawaiian airlines is probably your best bet for air http://www.hawaiianair.com
Good luck and Aloha
