Hawaii Travel Vacations
Hot Hawaii travel and vacation deals!
Whats the best places to go on vacation in Hawaii?
Planning a Havaian vacation but really don't know what is the best island or group of islands to see.I would like to get the best overall vacation.I would like to see Pearl Harbor, some volcanos and spend some time on a nice beach.I would also like to squeeze in a helicopter ride if possible.Anyone know of any package deals? I see this as probably a one time trip because I'm on the east coast. Most of my vacations are more reasonable to Mexico or the Carribean because of travel.
My husband and I just got back from taking a cruise around the islands, it was really fun and we got to see the main 4 islands, Hawaii, Maui, Kuaui and Oahu. We went with NCL, here's their website:

They have different itineraries and you can sign up to do shore excursions, like the helicoper rides. We didn't do it because it was too expensive but we went on 4 other shore excursions so it was fun. I'm really glad we decided on taking a cruise instead of flying from island to island because it was really easy. Good luck planning and have fun!

If you go to the Arizona Memorial (Pearl Harbor) go early in the AM, otherwise you can wait all day to get in. I personally would suggest spending a few days on the Big Island as well. You can go see the volcanoes in Volcanoes national park, the northland is beautiful, and if you go away from the resorts, some mostly deserted beaches. Its desolate and beautiful there.

Maui, is absolutely beautiful. You can go hike the crater on the Mount H, visit the last lava flow, snorkle & suba dive, take the road to Hanna and eat delicious food.
I'd got to Maui forsure there is so much to do there.
Be prepared Hawaii is not cheap.
I went to Honolulu for a day to see Pearl Harbor and the Hawaiian palace before it became a state. But over all Maui was the best.

Well I live on O'ahu and have not been to any of the other islands so I would have to say O'ahu. I love it here & have been here for 2 1/2 years. There is tons of stuff to do here and a lot of it surprisingly can be inexpensive as long as you get out and do some non-tourist things. Feel free to reach me if you have more questions. YOu can go hiking in the Koolau's, Ride the bus to the North Shore, Pali Lookout, Makapu'u Point, Valley of the Temples, Waikiki, Blowhole, Rabbit Island, Kailua, etc.
