You may be able to find some flight + hotel deals. But Hawaii is expensive to fly to and expensive to stay at. A lot of things are imported to the islands, so they are more expensive. I've visited Honolulu and Maui and found both to be pretty expensive. The US government is even trying to help people who flew to Hawaii to live, but went broke and became homeless and can't afford to fly back. That should tell you something! If you're looking for a cheap vacation look in the Continental US or Mexico. I think Maui is a wonderful island not the big city vibe at all. In Kehi you may be able to rent cottages right across the street from the beach; Get prices and suggested itineraries from a travel agent then look at sites like obritz or priceline.
