Hawaii Travel Vacations
Hot Hawaii travel and vacation deals!
Help locating a inexpensive (up to a 7 days) Hawaii vacation?
I’m looking for the cheapest possible flight + Hotel from Denver, to Hawaii any island, for 2 seniors during December 14th – 21st, 4 to 7 days. A once in a life time vacation as it my be our last together.
Any help finding such would be appreciated, I have searched the web for the past few weeks not finding an affordable price.
I think try a package the rates are low and don’t go around vacation time and high seasons and chirstmas and new year.

I’ve used United.com many times for trips to Hawaii. They tend to have pretty good packages (airfare + hotel), particularly on flights from Denver. I’d imagine you’d have to shell out about $2200 for a week. Also try Kayak.com- it’s a great website to compare deals across other websites (so you don’t have to search every travel website under the sun).
Good luck!

If you’re looking for a full package deal, you could try Apple Vacations. They have packages including flight, hotel, and rental car. However, you can probably do just as well on your own shopping around for the lowest priced flight on Travelocity.com and finding an inexpensive condo rental. You can find vacation rentals on Travelocity or at Vacation rentals by Owner (VRBO). TripAdvisor has reviews of condos and hotels so you can make sure you get a nice one.

you might be able to fly on Go! airlines. they are priced fairly low compared to competitors. as for where to stay, the big island might be cheapest. i live in kealakekua and the hotel in that area is called manago’s, they charge from 33 to $81 a night depending on the room type and beds. they are easy to find too as long as you follow the highway south it’s easy to spot on the right side of the road.
as for where to eat, there is a restaurant in the manago’s building and there several other restaurants nearby which include two mexican, an italian, chinese, local foods in the grocery store (all within a few minutes of the hotel if you walk, and much shorter by car). there are also numerous more just about a mile north of there. i advise you that if you do come, do NOT go to the italian restaurant named Paparoni’s near Manago, they have poor service, overcharge, and don’t handle their food correctly. if you feel an urge for pizza then i suggest go to Patz pies just a bit north of there.
all in all, staying in kealakekua would be a very nice and relaxing location since there are very few tourists that actually stay around this area.
i hope this helps. if you have any other questions, let me know.

Depending on what affordable meansI have had best luck with Kannapali Beach Hotel on Maui. They have special senior rates, car rentals search for Maui car rentals, best deal I have got was from "Aloha Rent A Car" and the car was a Jeep through Avis for less than $500 for 14 days. As for the airline try to use Hawaiian airlines, or United for the long flight. I have found the best rates directly at the airlines websites recently but another site to look at is Kayak.com. Good luck with your trip and I pray this is not your last trip to Maui. I have an informative Maui web site you can get huge amounts of information from at getmetomaui .com Good luck and enjoy the island.
