Wait, youre talking …
Wait, youre talking about modernization and then comparing America to Japan? Theyre like 12 years ahead of us in technology. Plus, theyre way cleaner and they actually make a big effort to recycle. Come on.

japan vs usa …
japan vs usa occupation, to the natives, who were swatting flies but a billion times more honorable and content and philosophical then the dismal excuse that we in the west think is civilized, would have seen it as a choice between 2 evil FORCED upon them. Technology? can you not share technology with out conquering and butchering a people? That concept is too foreign to you? You are a sad testament to how inanely selfish and ignorant we can be.

You do realize that …
You do realize that Hawaii would be Japan if not for America..Right, and If not for modernization Hawaiian people would be swatting flies off their heads like in Africa. Meth is running through Hawaii like wildfire as well. So think about what it would be like without the law and rules of America.

You’re right. The …
You’re right. The Japanese were pretty brutal to many of the people whose lands they occupied. But occupiers are occupiers, whether they’re Asian or Caucasian. Ask the Native Americans if they’re better off that Europeans came and “developed” their lands and gave them the “freedom” of having their very own reservations.
Unfortunately, you, being someone who’s never experienced it, will never understand what it’s like to have your native lands occupied by outsiders.

The natives were …
The natives were there first though! Like I said…its turning into what happened with the Native Americans. Americans are greedy people and only care about making a profit with no thought as to how that affects the land.
