Which island in Hawaii is best for newlyweds?

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon and are wondering which island is best for newlyweds? We are pretty low key, aren’t that into planned activities, haven’t been to Hawaii, and just want to relax in a beautiful place together. We have a moderate budget, so we can’t afford anything too luxurious. Which island have you had the best experience at?

Kona on the Big Island has some nice beaches. It’s a cute little town. The other side, (east side) of the big island is also very nice.. very lush and tropical.

Kaui is very beautiful but.. if you go in the winter, when I did, there is a change it will rain. A lot. I went a couple christmases ago, and spent the whole time inside because it was so gloomy.. But i’m sure it was just the time of year.

Maui, is gorgeous. Maui was the first place I thought of when I read your question. Beautiful beaches – and they aren’t as crowded as on Oahu.

It’s a tie between the big Island and Maui, but i’m leanin more towards Maui.

What is the closest and best preschool near Ko Olina in Hawaii?

We’re moving to Hawaii and looking to live in Ko Olina but are having a difficult time finding preschools in the area. Is the Barber’s Point CDC still open? What are some of the best preschools nearby? Thanks for any assistance!

The CDC in Barber’s is now operated by Kamaaina Kids. There’s also a Seagull School centrally located in Kapolei behind Burger King and the Chinese restaurant.

Maui – Grand Wailea

Kauai – Princeville Resort

Big Island – anywhere in Waikaloa

Oahu – don’t bother, but if you must then Hilton Hawaiian Village

I really want to go there and if we (my mom and me) save up enough money, we might go in April. Do you think it’s a good time of the year?

The weather is the same year round in Hawaii. It only varies about 5 degrees winter thru summer.

If you want to go at a less busy time, then you’d want to travel when most people aren’t traveling to Hawaii. I’d guess that most mainlanders vacation in Hawaii in Winter (to escape the cold) and summer when their kids are out of school.

I’ve been told that Spring and Fall are the best times for less crowds, but you’ll never escape them 100%.

I am hoping to go back to Hawaii in May! I love the Big Island… less touristy!

There is an amazing secret beach in Kona that is heaven on earth!

I hope you guys get there!

When it comes to deals, yes, check travelocity and those sites, but also check Hawaiian Airlines. If you find a great deal on Travelocity, go to that airlines actual website and see if you can get it cheaper booking directly from them!
