Destination #1 New York City.
Why?
Because it's a melting pot of different people from around the world with their own cultures that make New York somewhat of a Mosaic. I would also go there because of the shows the Smithsonian Institute, the Art Museums, the food and the great shops with excellent prices that won't leave you broke. :O)

I wonce worked for a company that mailed out flyers saying you have won a trip to hawaii. call in. I worked in a phone room answering the incomming calls and tell the customer they were intered in a sweepstakes for 1000 in cash and that to complet it i need name and address and phone # salary information. then told them to get the package to hawaii they will have to take visit quality services that cant get items direct from the manufacture at cost and at the end of the visit they will receive the Hawaiian vacation package any kind of online job like that out in the internet world that will pay for the information taken
The type of job that you are looking for are real hard to find. I tried for a few months, most of the jobs that I found were from "call centers", not a bad way to work but I already had a full time job, just wanted a little income from the net.
If you are interested, I will briefly share what I do to make a good monthly income from Internet. I work at my own pace and doesn't cost any money to start. I will post at the bottom the links that I used to get started, these links give more in depth information than I could.
(1) Real money can be made by having your own website / blog. It takes a little time and effort but if correctly done correctly, you can make extra money even when you are off the computer. That is the best thing about the Internet, it is open 24/7 and available worldwide
(2) Probably the easiest way that I make a little extra money is by doing simple things like surveys, "reading emails", etc. This is probably the easiest way that I make money and I only spend about an 1/2 hour a night doing this. I prefer "reading emails" because it takes less time, I just visit a link that is provided and wait for a timer to expire and move onto another link. I make enough from doing this to pay off my internet bill
(3) I also sell items on EBay and on a local auction site. Most of my items comes from yards sales, flea markets, discount bins at local stores, etc. I sell larger items locally, less shipping charges etc. Most customers will gladly pick up the items. Sometimes I buy items from the local site just to sell on EBay. You can get the same type of information that some people offer for sale just by checking out the Ebay site for free!
Hopefully you find my suggestions helpful and more important profitable, email if you have any questions but please check out the links first
We have to keep the cost for everything under $20,000 Canadian for everyone. Anyone with ideas for costs would be great.
A family trip of 11 of us. 5 adults and 6 kids between 11 yrs and 17 yrs old. Which part of Hawaii is a good place to go to. This is a once in a lifetime trip for all of us. It will be for Christmas 2007.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
A day or 2 b4 Christmas the hotel rates & airfares increase significantly until Easter, in March. April – May is cheaper also until the beginning of June, (a couple of weeks in) when the rates of everything go up again, but not quite as much as Dec. 25, -March because it's winter in a lot of places. 11 people, 5 adults X $1500/wk + 6 kids (ask about kid's discount, I think it's 12 yrs. old, but I may be wrong)$1000/wk = $13,500 american – whatever the exchange rate is now. Oahu is the most inexpensive & best for the kids. Maui would be the best but way more expensive.$1500/wk is conservative for adults it's easy to go $2-$3000/wk for adults, but you have to do your homework & take advantage of all the deals, you may be able to haggle group rates because of your large party of 11(group discounts) Don't be embarrassed to ask for all the discounts you can get, just like buying a car, get the best price or tell the salesperson you're going to check w/another company,& it will pay off. Make reservations as early as possible, last 2-3 years we set records so don't expect the prices to go down, they will only rise every year a small percentage. Aloha, See you in Paradise! You can get bus passes for a week, (cheap) don't have to rent a car for the whole trip, I guess you need a van which is more expensive. Best bus system in the US Award couple of years(great bus system $2 one way for adults $1 or.75 for students.Bus goes to Pearl Harbor, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Aloha Stadium Swap Meet(flea market across from Pearl Harbor, good for souveniers)Bus goes all around the island but takes awhile for longer trips bc/ of the stops. You can walk all over Waikiki, only 2 miles long, 2 main streets, Kuhio Ave., & Kalaukaua Ave., runs parallel 1-2 blocks apart.http://gohawaii.about.com/cs/oahuactivities/a/101oahu_2.htm
